What My Heart WHISPERED TO Me About 9-1-1

WHY!?!

Did it take a tragedy

Such as 9-1-1

To bring this nation together

As one

And

WHY!?!

Are we back to the way

We use to be

Before the 9-1-1 tragedy

No more unity

No more flags flying

Proudly

Diligently

Freely

No one knew that morning

That later that day

They would be mourning

If they were able to escape

Such a horrible fate

The passing of so many brave men and women

They stormed those crashing buildings

To try to save the lives of as many as they could

And then they themselves

Became entombed . . . consumed

By the smoke, rubble and debris

All of these brave men and women

Need to be recognized all throughout eternity

Just as our brave men and women overseas

Should

Be recognized by us

Getting down on our knees

Every day and every night

And we should pray

They will come home to us soon

And not in a casket

That will be transported to a tomb

I may not agree with why they are overseas

But that does not stop me from getting on my knees

DAILY

Because they are our

Mothers

Fathers

Sisters

And

Brothers

And they are all worth praying for

They are over there fighting for our freedom

Just like the police, fire people and civilians

That rushed into those burning buildings

I hope and pray one day we fly a

U-N-I-T-Y

Flag

Where all can share in this GREAT land

We call Earth

We are all brothers and sisters

No matter how much

Or

How little melanin

In our skin

We all bleed red blood

And if you research our roots to the very beginning

We all have the same dna

No matter what race, creed or religion

We all need to come together

How many more innocent lambs have to die

For all of us to see

That we are supposed to be united

As one

The HUMAN population
